Home School Fashion and Sewing 101 - for Kids

Available : 12

Pin It Fancy

A daytime weekday class for elementary, middle or high school aged children who home school.

Unlike sewing-only courses, The Fashion Class provides a big-picture introduction to fashion, art and design in our daytime courses just for the home school community!

We welcome students ages 6 through 17 to join this hands on class that touches on marketing, entrepreneurship, retail math, textile science, and fashion history all while students learn to sew by hand and with a sewing machine.

Students will spend two weeks on illustration and design, two weeks on hand sewing, and two weeks on machine sewing in this six week course. Sewing classes will focus on real clothing and accessory projects that they can take home and wear!

Our large and fully equipped studio is located on the Upper East Side. Each child works with our professional instructors, on their own project at their own pace. Our student/teacher ratio is 6:1 during sewing class time and our studio has ten sewing machines for a class of ten students.

This class is fully customizable and we welcome home school groups who would like to create their own class according to their schedule. Please contact us at 646-329-6663.
